Description
Engineered for precision placements at medium range, Sightmark’s Photon XT 4.6x42S Digital Night Vision Riflescope combines day and night vision capabilities with comprehensive precision target acquisition tools in a durable and lightweight glass-nylon and metal construction. At the core of this scope are opto-electronics featuring a 656 x 492 CMOS digital imaging sensor, a 640 x 480 LCD display, and a microprocessor that can generate six colored reticle patterns to address many tactical, hunting, and crossbow shooting requirements. While the digital night vision sensor exhibits intrinsic bright-light resistance and can be used both at night and during the day, the display superposes a red, green, or white reticle pattern on a black-white night or day background image. To control image brightness at night, you can use the three various settings of IR illuminator output power, and for positive target ID you can adjust display brightness. The reticle menu allows you to select between two reticles for 320, 350, 370, and 400 fps crossbows, two Duplex reticles, a Mil-Dot reticle, and a German #4 style reticle. To compensate for various ballistic and wind deviations, the riflescope provides digital windage and elevation compensation adjustments. In addition, the device has an RCA video-out port for recording sensor’s video data for storage and analysis.
The housing is made of lightweight, impact and corrosion-resistant glass-nylon. It offers a weather-resistant and recoil-resistant performance up to 1000 g and features a 30mm maintube, compatible with select riflescope mounting rings. Other mechanical highlights include a built-in polymer Weaver rail for lightweight accessories, a tethered battery compartment door, a capped RCA port, a snap-on objective cap, and a wide rubber eyecup.
