Description
This 4-20×50 GS3 Riflescope with S7 Reticle from Steiner features Color Adjusted Transmission (CAT) lens coatings that maximize image contrast at the peak of the human eye sensitivity range. The improved contrast helps you separate your game from the background and make accurate shots. This riflescope also features a 4-20x zoom for medium to long range targeting and a wide 50mm objective diameter for gathering more light and improving visibility in low light conditions that can be found at dusk and dawn. To help you compensate for a wind drift and bullet drop, there are a 40 MOA windage adjustments and a 60 MOA elevation adjustments with a 1/4 MOA point impact correction. The scope is also parallax-free at a 100 yd.
The Steiner Plex S7 Reticle features ballistic lines to help you determine holdover distances and help compensate for crosswinds. The hash marks below the center help you compensate for a bullet drop at ranges of 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 700 yards. The reticle also features a series of horizontal lines under the crosshair, which help you to compensate for 5 and 10 mph cross winds. If the wind is 5 mph, use the inner edge of the line. For a 10 mph wind, use the outer edge to compensate for wind drift.
To enable you to use and store this riflescope in a wide range of environmental conditions, the housing is made from matte black anodized aluminum and offers protection against recoil shock, water immersion, and fogging of the lenses. While the windage and elevation knobs are resettable and capped, the knurled diopter and zoom rings allow easy adjustments. The zoom ring also has a low profile fin for easy one finger adjustments. Also included with the scope is a lens cloth.
