Every feature of the ACOG’s (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) mechanical and optical design was designed for use with the M16 family of firearms. This sighting system was engineered for a single purpose: to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions – without relying upon failure-prone batteries.
Although the ACOGs have many features which are very advantageous for military use, they’re equally well adapted for sporting and tactical applications. These compact telescopic sights are internally adjustable, with tritium illuminated reticles for use in low-light conditions.
This 4×32 ACOG puts adaptability and flexibility into the operator’s hands – a necessary edge when the stakes are high, and the terms of engagement are uncertain.
Whether the day’s work involves precise long-range shot-placement, room-clearing, close-quarters MOUT engagements or high-stress fast-breaking action – sighting through the 4×32 ACOG is comfortable and intuitive. This ACOG’s reticle is calibrated for the 6.8 SPC cartridge – the unique horshoe/dot target reference system offers bullet drop hash marks out to 800 meters, and the ability to gauge hold-offs in windy conditions or moving targets. The 4x magnification offers a respectable FOV and the ability to employ the Bindon Aiming Concept for a both-eyes-open technique that greatly enhances the operator’s situational awareness.

Bindon Aiming Concept
The Bindon Aiming Concept was devised by Trijicon’s founder, Glyn Bindon. The BAC method of aiming with both eyes open ensures a far superior sense of balance, and a wider field-of-view. Combining these benefits with a magnified Trijicon sight gives you a considerable advantage over your target.
Dual Illuminated Red Horseshoe w/ Red Dot Reticle – 6.8 SPC
The red horseshoe reticle features dual illumination from Trijicon’s proprietary tritium/fiber-optic technology. During day or nighttime a red dot at the center of the sight picture indicates your point of aim. The dot is surrounded by an illuminated horseshoe that sits atop the 6 o’clock post.
Thin posts at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock feature hash-marks for bullet-drop compensation for distances up to 800 m, and hold-off points for moving targets or windage compensation. Dual 2 MOA floating dots that sit 5 mils off-center enhance the reticle’s flexibility when distance ranging or following moving targets.
The 4×32 ACOG Dual-Illuminated Riflescope from Trijicon features a battery-free illuminated ballistic reticle and a durable waterproof housing to create a versatile weapon sight that is well-suited for use in a wide range of weather and lighting conditions. This Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) sight is outfitted with a green crosshair reticle that has bullet drop compensation stadia on the lower vertical hair that are specifically calibrated for 300 Blackout caliber ballistics. Anti-reflection broadband fully multicoated optics maximizes light transmission to provide bright and clear views with limited distortion.
Trijicon’s battery-free dual-illumination reticle system employs a tritium phosphor lamp for low-light and night targeting, as well as a fiber optic illumination that automatically adjusts reticle brightness when operating in daylight. The reticle’s aiming point can be adjusted in 1/2 MOA increments, and an internal adjustment mechanism allows the ACOG to reliably hold zero. The ACOG is outfitted with a TA51 mount that has two thumbscrews for clamp-on attachment to a Picatinny rail. Complementing the ACOG’s optical system and caliber-specific ballistic reticle is a nitrogen-filled, aluminum housing with a scratch and corrosion-resistant hard-anodized matte-black finish that provides the durability needed for reliable performance in a wide range of shooting conditions.

Short and sweet – the tan L-3 EOTech EXPS3-0 holographic red-dot sight provides rapid heads-up-both-eyes-open target acquisition. Sporting a shortened form factor like the original XPS3, The EXPS3-0 also boasts a repeatable quick release throw-lever mount.
Because it’s powered by a single transverse-mounted CR123A battery, the EXPS3 is shorter than the N and AA battery versions – yet it delivers the same parallax-free sighting capabilities. This sight requires a mere 2.75″ of rail space, and the battery compartment is raised to accommodate the Delta Ring of most M16/AR15 platform firearms. The base is configured with a 7.0mm rise to accommodate hand guards and instant access to BUIS. The battery cap is a simple screw-type cover that’s o-ring sealed and tethered to the housing.
The control buttons have been placed on the left side of the rugged aluminum housing for ease of operation with a rear-mounted night vision device. The illuminated reticle is configured with a 65 MOA circle and a single 1 MOA dot – the illumination system provides the operator with 30 brightness levels to choose from, 10 of which are compatible with night vision gear.
Designed for today’s high-tech battlefield; the EXPS3-0 is submersible to a depth of 33′, and the QR throw-lever mount is repeatable to 2 MOA after remounting. The rear window is a 3/16″ thick shatterproof laminate with anti-glare and scratch resistant coatings, and the front lens is 1/8″ solid glass. Because the optical system is based upon transmission holography, parallax error is not an issue – a mission-critical feature that can save your hams when the mayonnaise hits the fan.
The 1-6×24 VCOG Riflescope from Trijicon is built to be used as a Variable Combat Optical Gunsight (VCOG) and features an LED illuminated BDC reticle located in the first focal plane. It is a rugged riflescope that is useful for both close encounters and medium-range target acquisitions. Its Horseshoe Dot .308/175 reticle allows a shooter to quickly and accurately engage targets. The reticle is located at the first focal plane and keeps subtensions and drops proportional to the target with any zoom. To allow for an easy reference, it has an ID at the bottom of the crosshair, and offers six brightness settings using LED-illumination.
The optical system features a 1-6x zoom for short-range target acquisition, a 24mm objective diameter for a low profile form factor, and fully multi-coated optics manufactured from proprietary glass for a high light transmission and a low image distortion. To help you manage wind drift and ballistic drop, the scope has 90 MOA windage and elevation adjustments with a 1/2 MOA impact point correction. The zoom eyepiece incorporates a fin-shaped lever for easy and fast adjustment in demanding situations.
Forged from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, the housing is exceptionally durable, fogproof, and waterproof (submersible to 66′). Also included with this riflescope, are a quick release Picatinny mount and a lens cleaning brush.

Trijicon produces battle-proven aiming systems that deliver rapid target acquisition and increased hit potential under any lighting conditions. Their self-luminous aiming systems empower you to execute any shot with complete confidence in bright light, low light or no light at all.
With a stunning magnification range, a 30mm tube, and an impressive objective, the AccuPoint 5-20×50 looks mighty serious while delivering the power needed to get on target across long distances.
This fine optic is also graced with a very handy third turret that re-focuses the reticle to eliminate parallax error. Sighting during twilight conditions is enhanced considerably by the remarkable 50mm objective, while the dual tritium/fiber optic reticle illumination system provides a vibrant aiming point under any conditions.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.
