Trijicon produces battle-proven aiming systems that deliver rapid target acquisition and increased hit potential under any lighting conditions. Their self-luminous aiming systems empower you to execute any shot with complete confidence in bright light, low light or no light at all.
With a stunning magnification range, a 30mm tube, and an impressive objective, the AccuPoint 5-20×50 looks mighty serious while delivering the power needed to get on target across long distances.
This fine optic is also graced with a very handy third turret that re-focuses the reticle to eliminate parallax error. Sighting during twilight conditions is enhanced considerably by the remarkable 50mm objective, while the dual tritium/fiber optic reticle illumination system provides a vibrant aiming point under any conditions.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.
30mm Main-Tube
6061-T6 Aluminum main-tube is waterproof to 10′
Mil-Spec Finish
Type III hard anodized per MIL-A-8625 , Class 2 dull & non reflective
Multi-Layer Coated Lenses
Provide superior clarity, zero distortion, flare/glare reduction
Side-Focus Parallax Correction
Third turret on saddle actuates parallax correction for long-range accuracy
Fiber Optics and Tritium Illumination
Proprietary battery-free technology provides a vivid aiming point without the need for failure-prone batteries
Dual-Illuminated Mil-Dot w/Green Dot Reticle
The Mil-Dot reticle enables long range distance calculations. A series of dots upon the cross hairs gives the shooter the ability to judge bullet drop and the proper hold over for accurate long range shot placement.
Trijicon’s proprietary tritium/fiber-optic illumination technology places a brilliant green dot at the intersection of the stadia.
This scope has the reticle positioned in the rear or second focal plane so it will not magnify when the scope is zoomed to high power. This leaves the sight picture unobstructed for a clear view at all times. The scope must be set to 20x magnification to use the Mil-Dot system
Trijicon's 1.5x16S TA44 ACOG Riflescope with M16/AR-15 Mount features tactical hand-adjustable windage and elevation turrets, and a battery-free illuminated reticle to create a versatile weapon sight that is well-suited for use in a wide range of situations and conditions. This Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) sight was designed for use with the both-eyes-open Bindon Aiming Concept for superior sense of balance and a wider field-of-view, and is outfitted with a 2 MOA green ring-dot reticle that enables fast sighting and tracking for CQB operations and precise shot placement at distance. Anti-reflection broadband fully multicoated optics maximizes light transmission to provide bright and clear views with limited distortion. The TA44's relatively low magnification translates to a generous 7.4° angular view and 39' linear field of view at 100yd, when using it as a conventional optic, but Trijicon designed the ACOG around the both-eyes-open Bindon Aiming Concept for CQB operations and fast target acquisition and tracking.
Trijicon's battery-free dual-illumination reticle system employs a tritium phosphor lamp for low-light and night targeting, as well as a fiber optic illumination that focuses, channels, and filters available light to illuminate the reticle. Using ambient light ensures that the reticle brightness will be appropriate for the conditions without any adjustment by the user. The reticle's aiming point can be adjusted in 1/2 MOA increments, and an internal adjustment mechanism allows the ACOG to reliably hold zero. Complementing the ACOG's optical and illumination systems is a nitrogen-filled, 7075-T6 aluminum housing with a corrosion and scratch-resistant matte black anodized finish that provides the durability needed for reliable performance in a wide range of conditions.
